1011 News Report

Why is this post labelled 1011 News Report, you ask? We live at 1011 Hunter Street and whenever we have an update from the docs, Gary’s condition, new research on MS, etc. it’ll come from our trusty 1011 News Team.

Others posts might come with the title, “A View from the Clouds” and will include things about how we’re feeling, will answer questions you have, and will be more of an insight on our overall experience. These two post names will be recurring as these things come up.

If you haven’t been to our place, I’ll explain. We live in the St. Cloud Condominiums, and the building has an atrium that actually has plexiglass (or some type of material) clouds hanging from the open ceiling. When it snows, it snows indoors. So – yes, it’s a play on words.

That’s as far as our creativity goes. Gary thinks this is corny, it’s great.

In good news, Sadie has raised over $1700 so far in her attempt to raise $6000 for the MS walk in September. In order to walk, one must raise a minimum of $1500 so she can definitely walk! Still have a ways to go, but totally doable.

That was the news report for the day. If you have any questions, please send them – we’re ready. Don’t feel embarassed that you might not know the answer already or hesitant because you’re worried about offending us – just ask. Gary prefers that people ask questions because he doesn’t want to seem as though he’s complaining by talking about his symptoms and experience, since some of what he shares might not be sought after by our readers. He’s excited to answer questions, though, and discuss MS with anyone.
